Guests Terms & Conditions

Check-in & Check-out
● Check-in: From 4:00 PM
● Check-out: By 10:00 AM
● Early check-in / Late check-out (1-hour extension): £10, must be agreed in advance.
● A £150 security deposit will be pre-authorised on the card used for booking.
This is not a limit of liability – if damages or losses exceed the deposit, the Guest will be invoiced the full amount.

Keys & Property Access
● Lost, stolen, or unreturned keys: £100 per key.
● Locked out outside office hours (Mon–Fri 9am–6pm): £100 call-out fee.
● All keys must be returned to the key box on departure.
● All windows must be closed and locked when leaving. A charge of £30 per window will apply if left open.
● Access to the property is not exclusive. Authorised staff may enter at reasonable times, or at any time in emergencies without notice.

ID & Fraud Prevention
● We may request government-issued ID and proof of address prior to check-in.
● Fraudulent or suspicious bookings will be cancelled without refund and may be reported.

Cancellations
● Cancellations 14+ days before arrival: full refund.
● Cancellations less than 14 days before arrival: no refund.
● No refund if the Guest shortens their stay.

Conduct & Use of Property
● No smoking indoors. £75 fine applies.
● No pets allowed.
● Maximum guest numbers must be agreed in advance. Any extra guests: £50 per guest, per night.
● This booking does not create a tenancy or right to remain beyond the checkout date.
● The lead guest is liable for all occupants and visitors, including any loss, damage or misconduct.
● Any antisocial behaviour, mistreatment of the property, breach of these terms, or criminal activity will result in immediate eviction without refund.

Cleaning & Condition
● Guests must keep the property clean and leave it in good order.
● Excessive mess or breach of departure tasks may incur up to £100 cleaning fee.
● Guests are liable for the full cost of damage, loss or repairs, and will be invoiced if it exceeds the security deposit.
● Photographs will be taken before and after stays as evidence where needed.

Departure List
Guests must:
● Put all used towels in the bath
● Wash and put away dishes
● Empty the fridge
● Take rubbish out to bins

Noise & Neighbour Respect
● Quiet hours: 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
● Excessive noise or complaints will lead to immediate eviction and full loss of booking fees.

Liability
●Jacella Stays is not liable for guest possessions or valuables left at the property.
● No insurance cover is provided for personal belongings – these are left at the Guest’s own risk.

Emergencies & Unforeseen Events
We aim to respond to issues promptly, but no refunds or compensation will be offered for events outside our control (e.g. power outages, broadband issues, weather, external noise).

CCTV & Photography
● External CCTV may be in use for security purposes. No internal areas are recorded.
● Photographs and marketing material remain the property of Jacella Stays.
● Guests do not have rights to reuse, distribute, or claim copyright over any images.

Legal Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
